Today we celebrated another wonderful birthday!
We also started new math centers with a fun camping theme!

ReplyDeleteHaha! Yes! We all are. :) Today we pulled out these centers for round 2 and I have to say it was one of my favorite parts of the day. I was hunkered down on the rug working with a small group on some math ... and the rest of the class was able to consult the chart and find their math center/group and get started independently. The cherry on top was when I walked around to check on everyone they were all engaged and working hard on their centers! It was one of those moments where everyone is doing just what they are supposed to be doing and having fun doing it...JOY! I had to just soak it up for a second :) Way to go second graders!
ReplyDeleteJust because I have to share... and am still cracking up as I type this. :) My second highlight was when one cutie pie told me he had to go to the dentist for a bunch of dental work... he must of seen a nervous look on my face because he proceeded to tell me not to worry, it will be fine because they put your teeth to sleep first! Serious LOL! I <3 these little people!
