This week we explored another American symbol. We traveled to South Dakota to learn all about Mount Rushmore! We watched a few videos and went on a virtual field trip video 1 , and I promised to put this one up for the kids fun video. I love that the students are requesting things to be put on the blog so they can share with their families. This has become such a great place to share!
Then we set up our notebooks with key questions we wanted answered and got busy researching. The kiddos are becoming quite skilled at close careful reading. Yay!
