We ushered in the New Year with some fun this week! The students made flap books explaining 2015 in place value terms. Then they put their place value skills to work to solve a mystery picture. It was so fun to hear their excitement as they solved the puzzle and revealed the hidden 2015!
Next we worked hard on these fun and challenging 2015 books. I do believe our brains were actually tingling after working on these books. (I know for sure mine was!) Thank you Mrs. Denis for helping facilitate this brain stretching activity!
And of course we had to make some sweet art to celebrate the New Year and created awesome class goals! LOVE these!
