Dream House Project

Last week the kiddos created the house of their dreams!  We're talking laser tag rooms, baseball stadiums, indoor pools, and even a fruit room. :)  After they created their master pieces they were so into the project, it was a little hard to break the news that we couldn't create furniture for each room as they so desired, but our objective was to find the area and perimeter of various rooms in their house.  With my enthusiastic pitch about the project and biggest smile possible :) they soon got just as excited about our gameplan and got busy writing and solving thoughtful area and perimeter questions about the rooms in their dream house.
